SciSim for Teachers

336 free interactive science simulations you can use in class today, with worksheets, quizzes and lesson plans on many pages. No sign-up for you or your students, and no ads.

How do I use a simulation in class?

  1. Pick a simulation. Choose a subject on the homepage or search for your topic (try "photosynthesis" or "circuits").
  2. Share the link. Every one of the 336 simulation pages has a Share to Google Classroom button and a Copy link button for Nearpod, Teams or any LMS.
  3. Students explore, then check themselves. Many pages have missions, a quiz and a printable worksheet. No sign-up for you or your students.

Questions teachers ask

Do my students need an account?

No. Students never need an account, a login or an email address. They open the link and start.

Is SciSim free?

Yes. All 336 simulations are free, with no ads. Optional printable lesson packs are sold separately on Teachers Pay Teachers; some of them are free.

Does SciSim collect student data?

Progress (missions, quiz results) is kept only in the browser on that device. Details are on the privacy page.

Which grades is SciSim for?

Most simulations are made for grades 6–12, with grades 6–8 as the main audience. Many pages add a "Going further" part for high school.

Can I ask for a topic you do not have?

Yes. Send a request and we build requested simulations for free.
